Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe and analyze the conceptual skills developed by entrepreneurial students at the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia center in Cartagena de Indias. Using a qualitative and quantitative approach with an exploratory design, surveys were used to collect data on the ability to apply abstract concepts and solve problems. The results show that most respondents exhibit significant strengths in strategic vision, adaptability, and creativity. However, areas for improvement were identified in environmental sensitivity and the ability to handle pressure.
Virtual education has proven to be effective in developing these skills, facilitating access to resources and simulations that reinforce students' ability to face challenges and make informed decisions. The findings highlight the need to incorporate additional modules in sustainability and stress management into e-learning. This educational approach not only enhances the conceptual skills of entrepreneurs, but also helps to better prepare them for the dynamic and competitive business environment.
